Catching Up

What I wanted to do today was relax in a comfy chair while drinking tea and reading all day to recover from yesterday’s road trip. Unfortunately, that was not an option.

I had so much to do today to get caught up and to be ready for our writers’ meeting on Zoom this evening. I didn’t even have time to go grocery shopping at Aldi, but fortunately there was food in the freezer that I could thaw.

So there’s not much to tell about my day. Most of it was spent at the computer getting caught up and I have much more to do! We had our Zoom critique meeting this evening, followed by the regular writers’ meeting, which I think went pretty well.

Joy Spark: Today’s joy spark was hearing back from a fellow writer whose books I enjoy. I emailed her to tell her how much I liked her books and she responded!

Parting Shot:

I did get some reading done on our trip. For some mysterious reason I am now able to read in the car without puking. I know this is kind of a lame showing considering the first quarter of this year is almost over, but I do have other priorities at the moment.
